4-Week Series: SPLITS 101 for all levels!
w/ Krystel Houle, EWYT-350, RYT-200, PMI, PTS
During this four-week series, we will be working on:
Each week, yogis will be sent home with 5 Key Stretches to practice three to five times throughout the week before the next class.
WEEK 1: Introduction to front split preparation poses emphasizing safety, modifications and the use of props.
WEEK 2: Increasing the intensity of the intro poses and working towards Hanumanasana (Monkey Pose/Front Splits). Introduction to straddle split preparation poses.
WEEK 3: Advancing front split prep and practice. Increasing the intensity of the intro poses and working towards Samakonasana (Straight Angle/Straddle Splits).
WEEK 4: Practice and maintenance of both the front & straddle splits moving forward.
